'Tis the season for bridal shows and expos. Wedding planners and event designers seem to be stepping a little bit out of the box this
year. We are seeing more pattern, color and texture being used in the table linens to create vibrant, interesting and gorgeous results.
Derrick Taylor, of Taylor & Co. in Chicago, has been busy at several bridal shows recently, adorning our newest and most fabulous table linens with his exceptional sense of decor and
extraordinary floral designs.
Among the linens featured at a Bridal Expo Chicago Luxury Show on February 15th were two standouts,
Azalea Loden
and
Steel Rio Rose
. Azalea Loden, a rich olive green taffeta with an
appliquéd
ribbon texture, was shown with loden taffeta napkins. The Steel Rio Rose is a stunning warm gray background, textured with a modern rose pattern in shades of silver which were captured with the silver bengaline napkins.
The Windy City Wedding Show kicked off the 2013 season with a February 17th show hosted by
Carnivale Chicago
, a colorful and exciting restaurant/bar in Chicago's West Loop, featuring a global Latin flavor. To match the lively ambience of Carnivale, Taylor chose some fresh and unexpected linens for his outstanding bridal table designs. The bold pattern of
Summer Magnolia
in turquoise with hot pink blossoms was captivating when paired with
Satin Garden Fuchsia
napkins. A really fun, yet elegant look was achieved using
Tangerine Fancy Dot
with
Lemon Satin
and
Tiger Lily Satin
napkins.
For a more traditional look, updated with all-over texture,
Ivory Rose Petals
was used along with
Ivory Bengaline
napkins. Of course, Derrick Taylor's floral centerpiece captures the essence of this breathtaking tablecloth.
What's a reception without highboy cocktail tables? Add a little pizzazz using our
